In this workshop we will explore a wide assortment of sound and vibrational tools and technics used in healing and clearing. Topics to be covered include * bells, chimes, singing bowls * drums, rattles, gongs and other percussion * toning, singing, chanting * recorded music and much more. Participants will have the opportunity to try multiple methods and modalities, As well as Express themselves by raising their voice and instrument in a round of sound alchemy. Dance to your favorite music, this is all for you. Wear a costume or come dressed to impress. For those of you who are preparing Masquerade Ball costumes, prizes will be awarded for the 4 Best Dressed (either costume or finery). Strut your stuff while you show a different face, from Halloween costumes to Mardi Gras attire to full blown ritual regalia, come on down and dance the night away. In addition there will be a costume contest with great prizes! For those of you who are preparing Masquerade Ball costumes,there will be 4 winners for Best Dressed (either costumes or finery): Judging will happen in the dance between 9:30 pm and 10 pm. This class will help open the mind to ensure seeing the details within the big picture through the art of belly dance. Ashley Hecksel has been using belly dance for 6 years within rituals for herself and her covenant. Tiffany Mann has been performing belly dance for 4 years with the GVSU Belly Dance Pod where she has performed for large crowds at Detroit Piston Games and GVSU dance performances. These two sisters wish to teach basic belly dance moves that can be used in personal belly dance ritual, but also teach a full ritual to center the mind and spirt to see the details within.
