The Faery tradition of witchcraft is martial in nature, providing an array of practices that seek to refine the practitioner, increase their knowledge, and deepen their power. Toward this the Iron Pentacle is paramount. Like a blacksmith working their forge and hammer, the Faery practitioner uses this tool to reshape, sharpen, and temper their consciousness, becoming a finely tuned instrument for the Old Powers. As a psychic diagnostic tool the Iron Pentacle offers the witch a means of self-exploration, identifying areas where we consume life force or may be leaking it away. As a ritual practice it offers a means to heal and strengthen those areas affected by imbalance or injury, strengthening our will and our magic.
