ConVocation 2018 - The Strength to See the Details Behind the Big Picture

This PowerPoint presentation workshop focuses on the trump cards. Each card will be examined including its association with Zodiac, element or planet. We will start with the Fool's Journey as an overview and compare that to Doreen Valiente's rare poem, “The Tarot Trumps”. Each card will then be discussed in depth. Participants will learn how to choose personal experiences and relate them to each card to use as a point of reference. For example, when did you encounter a situation that presented itself as the Fool? Traditional symbolism will be discussed while viewing the highlighted cards taken from various decks. We will then turn our attention to Oracle decks and how they are used, highlighting a few different types and discussing how they can work with traditional tarot in a reading.
