Indigenous people all over the earth use the directions of the compass to describe the nature of our universe, our placement within cycles of creation, and the phases of our lives. This class discusses the seven directions common to the Indigenous peoples of North America, their meanings, the concept of the “red road” and the “blue road” and the strengths available to us to help navigate our life journeys. A short mediation to find an answer for a current life problem through the use of the Medicine Wheel teachings will be included in the class.
